Sugar Free Cinnamon Danish

Equipment

  • Pizza cutting wheel

Ingredients

  • 1.5 tsp Active Dry Yeast
  • ½ cup Warm tap water
  • ½ cup Hot milk
  • 1 ½ tbsp Monk Fruit Sugar
  • 5 tbsp Butter melted
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 Egg Beaten
  • 4 cups Almond Flour

Filling

Glaze

  • 3 tbsp Powdered Monk Fruit Sugar
  • 2 tsp water

Instructions

  • Pre-heat over to 350 F
  • First add yeast to warm tap water, allow yeast to activate.
  • Mix all wet ingredients and salt
  • Once everything Elsa is completely mixed together add the almond flour till you have a firm ball of dough.
  • Use a rolling pin to make it flat even square.
  • Use a pizza cutting wheel to make 2 inch strips 2 ft long
  • Spread the cinnamon paste on top of strips of dough
  • Roll the pastry and cut in half to make two rolled rolls
  • Place the Cinnamon Danish in a baking pan lined with parchment paper. Make sure you leave space between the Danish so they can expand during baking.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until golden.
  • While the Danishes are baking, prepare the frosting. In a small bowl.
  • When the rolls are cooling on the cooling rack, drizzle the glaze over the Danishes.
  • Allow to cool!
